I started Updated Classics, because when I downloaded some of the "classics" to my eBook reader, I became very frustrated, because the formatting of these "public domain" books is often so poor, it makes them practically unreadable. Also, the English language has changed so much over the years, that it impacts the understandability or enjoyment of these older books. I do NOT like having to stop reading to look up an old, obscure word.

The Updated Classics approach is a solution to my own frustrations with classic literature. I hope you enjoy these books as much as I do. They are the favorites of MILLIONS of readers over the years!
